With over 60 years of experience
SCAE S.p.A. was founded in Milan in 1964 by a group of enterprising engineers who foresaw how the growing volume of road traffic would impact everyday city life. From the very beginning, the company’s mission has been to facilitate communication between the road and its users, ensuring orderly and efficient coexistence.
Guided by this mission, the company has always focused on the design, production, sale, and installation of equipment, components, devices, and systems for traffic management and road safety, as well as all functionalities that public administrations must provide to their citizens. The company has continuously evolved alongside technological advancements, offering smart and innovative solutions to improve urban quality of life, establishing itself as a recognized leader not only in Italy but also in many countries abroad. The study, design, production organization, testing methods, and product support are entirely entrusted to the expertise of the company’s specialized engineers and technicians.

The company’s administrative liability is independent of the criminal liability of the individual who committed the offense and exists alongside it. In line with its Code of Ethics, on 20 April 2010, the Board of Directors of SCAE S.p.A. adopted the Corporate Organizational Model (Legislative Decree 231/2001) to ensure that efficiency, fairness, and integrity are upheld in every daily business process. This decision demonstrates the company’s clear commitment to transparency and responsibility in both internal relations and interactions with the external world.
The scope of SCAE S.p.A.’s Safety Management System covers the design, manufacturing, marketing, installation, and support of equipment and systems for traffic and parking control. Specifically, the Quality, Environment, and Safety Management System is applied to operational activities carried out at the Segrate (MI) site on Via Alessandro Volta 6, as well as at sites where traffic mobility control systems are installed.
