Touch Pedestrian Push Button for Visually Impaired

The Tweety DNV Touch is a capacitive-activation pedestrian push button designed for installation at signalized pedestrian crossings, in combination with the DNV2000 acoustic device, allowing crossing requests from both sighted pedestrians and people with visual impairments, in compliance with the regulations established by the Highway Code.

General Features

It offers two activation modes:

  • Front Touch Sensor:
    – Capacitive touch activation without mechanical pressure.
    – Located on the front of the device.
    – Used by sighted pedestrians to request crossing.
  • Hidden Vibrating Touch Sensor:
    – Designed for visually impaired or blind users.
    – Positioned at the bottom of the enclosure to minimize accidental activations.
    – Features a tactile surface with an integrated directional arrow to aid orientation and correct positioning at the crossing point.
