Safe Pedestrian Crossing

Flashing system for pedestrian crossings, activated by a pedestrian presence sensor. The system automatically turns on when a pedestrian is detected at either end of the crossing. The lights are activated on both sides of the road through a wireless transmission system. Dual system, certified and approved UNI EN12352 class L8H.

Easy to install, even on existing signs, and can be powered with a photovoltaic panel. The system remains off by default and flashes repeatedly for 20 seconds when a pedestrian is detected, then returns to the off state.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

  • LED optics: 200 mm total with 60 LEDs each – 2 per sign – transparent polycarbonate ALTUGLAS lens –  certified EN12352 class L8H.
  • Doppler presence sensor, IP65
  • Wireless communication system: RX-TX radio system 433.92 MHz, approved
  • Power supply via 20-watt photovoltaic panel with 12 V 18 Ah backup battery capable of providing
  • illumination for over 1 week without sun
  • Integrated box containing management electronics and batteries
  • No roadway cabling required
  • Easily installable on existing signs
