BRACKET POLE

0 out of 5

Used within traffic light systems to support traffic lights, either mounted on the upright pole or on the cantilever arm for suspended lights.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

The mechanical structure consists of an octagonal-section upright with a curved cylindrical cantilever arm, composed of two elements (upright + arm) designed for on-site assembly via overlapping joint. The arm is made of curved cylindrical steel bent with a radius of 1800 mm. (See drawings C03947 REV 2, C03948 REV 2, C03949 REV 2)

The pole is designed for anchoring to a foundation block via insertion into a concrete base and is constructed by cold-forming sheet steel with subsequent external longitudinal welding performed using an automatic MAG process approved by R.I.N.A. The steel used complies with EN 10025 standards: minimum yield strength 355 N/mm², tensile strength 510–680 N/mm². The upright section is octagonal steel, with an opening for electrical cable passage, grounding attachment, slot 186×45 mm for terminal block, and surface protection achieved through hot-dip galvanization. Zinc coating thickness complies with UNI EN 40, Part 4 standards.
