COUNTDOWN CD400
The countdown module CD400 RGB provides an additional warning service and increases the safety level of the traffic light system, reminding vehicles and pedestrians of the remaining and waiting time to cross the road. The countdown value is displayed in the green, yellow and red colors according to the signal light in progress. The device is generally mounted on the top of an arm pole as additional information of the remaining time of the color phase displayed by the associated traffic light.

The Countdown CD400 is mounted inside a black painted aluminum box measuring 520x470x102 [mm].
The functionality of the device in stand-alone mode involves a self-learning cycle after which the decreasing time of the current traffic signal will be displayed.
The functionality of the device in dynamic mode involves a RS422 / 485 serial connection to the traffic light controller which will dynamically manage the time displaying.
