PEDESTRIAN TOUCH BUTTON TWEETY INT

The TOUCH TWEETY INT pedestrian button has been designed to offer many operating features thanks to a great flexibility and programming options that makes it suitable to satisfy any specific customer request. The device is in fact able to memorize the pedestrian request, to show the reservation status associated with key vibration and / or sound emission, display the traffic light status during the semaphoric cycle through the multicolored backlit graphic display and emit an acoustic signal, if properly booked, or alternatively issue a voice message.

GENERAL FEATURES

The button is designed for two types of users: normal pedestrians and the blind. The request of walk signal made by common pedestrians is sent to the traffic controller so that it can start in the traffic-light cycle the concerned phase and send a feedback used by the device for activating a luminous signal as confirmation of the accepted request. Used by blind people for requesting the walk signal by a special touch sensitive switch, it offers an immediate response via a sound and vibration confirmation for all the request duration. In this way the visually impaired person will have to wait for the moment to coincide with the beginning of the next green phase, confidently engaging the pedestrian crossing.
In this way the visually impaired person will have to wait for the next green phase to start, safely engaging the pedestrian crossing.

OPERATING FEATURES

  • Isolated power derived by the associated pedestrian signal
  • Control of microcontroller driving logic
  • Display interface using RGB backlit graphic display or LED
  • Possibility of issuing appropriate voice messages anywhere in the pedestrian phase
  • Confirmation of the pedestrian request through acoustic response (buzzer) and vibration
  • Request of operation via touch sensor
  • Request command for visually impaired people by switch
  • Noise emission in the green and yellow phase (or green end) with different frequencies and controlled by the ambient noise
